The University of Missouri and Revature, a leading technology talent development company, have announced Revature at Mizzou, a breakthrough, no-cost bootcamp for MU graduates of any major, that teaches front-end web development languages and places students to work within top companies upon completion.
The 12-week program, exclusively for MU graduates, provides the opportunity to learn the latest enterprise-level technology. Upon completion, students are guaranteed employment with Revature, receive industry certification and continuing education, and are placed in leading companies in the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.
“Revature at Mizzou is a prime example of the innovative approaches we are taking to better prepare our students for success beyond college,” says Jim Spain, MU Vice Provost for Undergraduate Studies. “Bringing the latest technology training directly on campus at no cost, gives our graduates another pathway to high-impact careers and furthers our commitment to generating a world-class talent pool to meet the workforce needs in Missouri and beyond.”
Revature at Mizzou will provide opportunities for careers in software development for MU graduates regardless of their undergraduate major. The program is expected to develop and hire 500 graduates over the next five years.
